The Organizing Committee encourages authors to submit their abstracts for presentation at the Hong Kong International Dental Expo And Symposium (HKIDEAS). Abstracts of the below topics are welcome. Outstanding abstracts will be selected by the Organizing Committee for poster presentation.

Mode of Presentation & Evaluation Criteria
Accepted authors will be invited to present their work in poster format. Posters will be displayed on both physical boards and e-poster machines, available for viewing throughout the Congress. A panel of judges from the Organizing Committee will evaluate the posters based on the following criteria:

• Interest: Is the content original, important, or relevant to the industry?
• Scientific Quality and Novelty: How likely are the findings to influence clinical practice, research, education, or government policy?
• Quality of Visual Presentation: How effective is the poster layout?
• Unique Features: What elements attract the audience’s attention?

Rewards
Award winners will receive cash prizes as follows:

• Best Poster: USD 1,000
• 1st Runner-up: USD 800
• 2nd Runner-up: USD 600

We will also introduce the Merit Award(s) to recognize exceptional contributions, which does not include a cash prize.

All awards will be presented during the congress.

Accepted poster presenters will receive a Certificate of Participation via email after the Congress.

Deadline: 31 May 2025
The online submission system will close after the deadline.

Preparation Guidelines

1. Abstracts must be submitted exclusively through the website:hkideas.org.
2. Abstracts must be written in English. The word limit is a maximum of 300 words per abstract.
3. The content of the abstract should include the following: TITLE, AUTHOR(S), PRESENTER, INTRODUCTION, METHODS, RESULTS AND CONCLUSION. However, it is not necessary to organize the abstract under different headings.
4. The title should be in CAPITALS and in bold at the top of the abstract. Avoid using abbreviations in the title.
5. Type name(s) of author(s) with initials first, e.g. E.Lau. The authors’ names should be followed by the details of the institutions (Department, Institution, Country).
6. The accepted abstracts will be published in the promotional materials of the Congress, including, but not limited to, website and brochures.
7. Submissions do not comply with the requirement will not be considered
8. The author should warrant that all the information and content provided to the Organizer does not infringe any third-party rights, including, but not limited to, intellectual property rights.

Confirmation of Receipt and Notification of Decision
All submissions will be acknowledged on receipt. Please contact the Congress Secretariat by email hkideas@conferenceprohk.com if you do not receive the confirmation email.

Notification regarding the status of your abstract will be sent out by July 2025. Information for the preparation of the poster will be sent together with this notification.

The Organizing Committee reserves the right of the final decision on the acceptance of an abstract.

Registration for Poster Presenters
Authors and co-authors whose poster submissions are approved by the Scientific Committee will be eligible for an early-bird registration rate.
