Prof. Jin is the Modern Dental Laboratory Professor in Clinical Dental Science and Professor of Periodontology at the HKU Faculty of Dentistry. He joined HKU in 1994, and was awarded the FDS RCS ad hominem (Edinburgh) in 2007. He was a FDI Councillor (2015-2021), Chair of FDI Global Periodontal Health Project Task Team (2016-2021) and FDI Science Committee Chairman (2012-2015).
