Dr. Sharon Lee joined the Dental Services of the Government after her graduation from the University of Hong Kong in 1993. She then obtained Master of Science in Dental Public Health from the King’s College of London in 2012 and the Fellowship in Community Dentistry of the College of Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong in 2016. Dr. Lee is now the Principal Dental Officer heading the Dental Regulatory and Law Enforcement Office (“DRLEO”) of the Department of Health. The key mission of the DRLEO is to support the implementation of the Private Healthcare Facilities Ordinance in Hong Kong and Dr. Lee has been actively promulgating this new ordinance through numerous community briefing sessions and presentations to dental professional and regulatory bodies in Hong Kong.
